CGGS members attending the AAO Annual Meeting

in New Orleans plan on meeting up with colleagues at


Mulate's the Original Cajun Restaurant

201 Julia St. New Orleans

5:15 pm to 7:15 pm


The restaurant is a 5 minute walk from convention center and conference hotels.

Members are encouraged to bring potential members

and current Glaucoma Fellows*.


All attendees will be required to register.


*Glaucoma Fellows currently not a member -  you must  complete and submit the Fellow membership application to confirm your registration.

2025 Meet Up | October 17, 2025

Members attending the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Annual Meeting, held October 18-20, 2025 in Orlando, gathered for the CGGS Meet-Up on Friday, October 17, at Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar Orlando, a lively Cuban restaurant and bar conveniently located near the convention center.

More than 30 members and guests attended, enjoying great food, conversation, and camaraderie — with fun had by all. The event was complimentary for members and provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues in a relaxed, social setting.

Among those in attendance were CGGS President Dr. Peter Netland, Secretary-Treasurer Dr. Ian Conner, and Past Presidents Dr. Joel Schuman and Dr. Janey Wiggs.

    Fellow (Non-Member) - Complete the short Fellow Application.

    Fellows who are not currently members of the Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society are welcome to register for this event.

    You may proceed with event registration; however, your registration will remain pending until you complete the Fellow Membership Application  prior to October 9th.
